Six in the hundred, none in the forty

The seven slots: quarterback 80.2, first back 91.9, second back 78.8, first receiver 86.4, second receiver 86.3, tight end 93.0, flex 30.6. Six of the seven between seventy-nine and ninety-two.

That is a very unusual shape. Most clubs in the top five here have two or three players inside the top 25 of 457 and a hole somewhere; this one has no player inside the top forty and no hole until the flex. The second back at 78.8 would start ahead of the first back at eight clubs on this site.

The quarterback, judged the way I judge one

Caleb Williams rates 80.2, 92 of 457. The scheme profile's quarterback input reads 0.62, which is a good deal less flattering, and pass efficiency reads 0.7.

I believe a young quarterback should be judged on pressure-adjusted numbers and almost nothing else, and the line in front of this one ranks 24 of 32. This site does not publish a pressure-adjusted split, so I am going to name that as the limit rather than reason around it: the two quarterback numbers on this page disagree, the line is in the bottom third, and the measurement I would actually want is not here.

The run game, and what it lets me believe about the receivers

Rush efficiency reads 0.84, which is among the better figures in football, at a 0.47 rush rate in a balanced scheme. Two backs at 91.9 and 78.8.

I am sceptical of receiver production in an offense that has not established a run game, and this is the first Chicago page in years where that objection does not apply. Luther Burden III at 86.4 and Rome Odunze at 86.3 are arriving alongside a functioning ground game rather than instead of one, and a tight end at 93.0 on medium usage is the kind of outlet a young quarterback under pressure actually uses.

The cautious conclusion, which is the house style

The defense does not corroborate any of it. Pass defense ranks 19 of 32, rush defense 19, and the forward composite falls to 27. Team Power at 23 of 32 is the blend, and it is eighteen places below the roster figure. In a market that treats defense as a birthright that is the number that will get quoted here all year.

The value-weighted age is 24.2, 3 of 32 counting youngest first, with 74.6% of the club's rated talent under twenty-five, the second-highest share in football. 14 of 17 games are outdoors and strength of schedule ranks 26 of 32 counting easiest first. Cold-weather scheduling is a structural drag that positional models never carry and this one does not either.

So the case is: the fifth-best skill group in football, three quarters of it under twenty-five, with no star, a bottom-third line, a bottom-third defense and fourteen games outdoors. That is a rising club rather than a finished one, and this market has learned the hard way what happens when those two get confused in August.
