This policy is part of the Terms of Use. It applies to everyone who uses HexMetrics.
Toward other people
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse.
- No hate speech or content attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- No sexual content involving minors, and no sexual content directed at anyone who has not asked for it.
- No impersonating another person, another user, or us.
- No publishing another person's private information.
- A league is a small room. Team names and messages are visible to everyone in it, and the standard is the one you would use out loud in front of them.
Toward leagues and drafts
- No running multiple accounts to hold more than one seat in a league.
- No collusion intended to distort a draft, a trade, or a league outcome.
- No evading a suspension or a removal by creating a new account.
- No automating draft picks or league actions except through features we provide for that purpose.
Toward the Service
- No scraping, crawling, or systematic retrieval of the Service or its data, and no building a database or a competing product out of it.
- No circumventing rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, except where that restriction is unenforceable by law.
- No uploading malware, and no interfering with the operation of the Service or the servers behind it.
- No denial of service testing, load testing, or stress testing without our written permission.
Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. Report what you find to legal@hexmetrics.app before disclosing it, do not access or modify data belonging to anyone else, do not degrade the Service for other users, and give us a reasonable period to fix the issue. We will not pursue action against research conducted on those terms.
Enforcement
Where circumstances allow we prefer to warn first, then to remove content, then to suspend, then to terminate. Serious cases skip straight to the end. We decide what is serious.
We may report conduct to law enforcement where we believe someone is at risk or a crime has been committed.
